Macromedia MAX 2005

Ideas in Motion Ideas must move to grow. At MAX 2005 attendees had the chance to see what is possible when we put our ideas in motion together. Nearly 3,000 leading developers and designers gathered in Anaheim, California for the largest MAX ever.

MAX was the place to learn about Studio 8 from the expert team that created it. It was also the place to hear about the newly released Flex 2 and to learn about the rich internet applications that are being built with the Flash Platform. From this year's release of the powerful ColdFusion MX 7 to the latest release of the Flash Player, MAX attendees saw the latest and greatest that Macromedia has to offer.

This was one hell of a good show. Flash is the software for making websites, and for mobile interfaces. I realised how much of the internet I was missing after attendin this show. The first person to impress me was Drew Trujilo or affectionately known as Dr. Woohoo. His presentation on 'In The Mod- Color Analytics' was awesome. You have gotta check out his color palettes. Another presenter was Mario Klingemann. Ever heard of a Internet driven VJ system? You have it right on Klingemann's site. This is really a wonderful tool for anyone who needs a little eye-candy, or who aspires to be a little creative while surfing on the net. And moving on to Yugo Nakamura. This guys's creations are amazing. I mean, who would have thought that you could have built such interactive sites? Please go to AmazType. And I say please, because, then you would forget the boring way search engines churn out the results. I think it is appropriate to end of this blog with one of Nakamura's quotes;
"Let's try to forget about all content of logic, Let's reconstruct it and make new logic"
