ZZZzzzzz......z....

I have always been a nocturnal being, and I think it is largely affecting my life nowadays. Being awake through the night, or if not, hitting bed by 4am seems perfectly normal to me for the past few days. In fact, I am beginning to enjoy this practice of living, since I am signed for this AIRTEL plan, where broadband connection is free from 9pm to 8am. More things to do online, more people to keep in touch with over the net, and more reasons to remain wide awake.

But do I do any solid work in the night? Well I could if i want to, or if the need arises, but the thought that I still have to conform to the 'normal' form of living, and certain duties have to be carried out in the day, does not get me very far most of the times.

So, that forces me to remain wide awake in the day too, after sleeping off at 4am, waking up at 8am, continuing with work. And trust me, and a whole lot of others who might share the same sentiments as me, that staying awake in a Computer Lab, without being allowed to switch on the monitors; listening to a single guy demonstrating COMBUSTION and 3DSMAX is no joke. Well thats me, and unless I am kept working, or entertained, I so wasily drift off to slumberland, especially when the sun is out. No not that I want the whole world to work with me in the wee hours, I just so helplessly remind those in the teaching profession, that mere teaching, without your students being occupied, is getting you and the students nowhere...other than slumberland. And life becomes lazy and boring, very much like this post.

RJ Reva is Back in Full Swing and Sound...

Hey Hey...here I am back... 'Vandhaaarai Vaazha Vaikkum Chennai' has been treating me well since I came here, and the most interesting thing that has happened since I have stepped here is my job in HELLO FM 106.4. As much as it sounds cliched when I say 'It's all an accident...' thats what it is, but I have been enjoying every moment of my live in this 'Dhinathandhi' group FM station which was officially launched on 2nd October 2006, on Gandhi Jayanthi.

Currently I am RJing a night-cap programme 'VIARAGA' no not VIAGARA... it is 'VIA-RAAGA'.. yeah, from 9pm to 11pm on weekdays, and my live (pun intended) is mostly revolving around that. That has been one of the reasons I have not been blogging, because I did not want to reveal too much of what I am doing, and who I am... during the early stages of the station.. well now I guess its allright, and anyway, I did miss all the blogging. In fact, I have told my folks back home about my job, just recently.

Another reason was the absence of a net connection in my life, and I am just not getting the inspiration to blog in college or in office. Now I have an airtel connection at home... and its rocking my life.

Radio has never been an option in my life; television was what I wanted to be in, but I guess paths do change drastically sometimes, but whatever it is, I am enjoying every single moment. There is a wealth of information in this field, and air waves are certainly exciting me. Then there is this FM surge in Chennai,... with all the new waves its a stormy sea out there.
